English language is a sector that makes a significant contribution to the export education industry and it offers New Zealanders a wonderful opportunity to interact with different cultures and have a sense of global connectedness.
The majority of students at English New Zealand schools come for a short period of study to improve their English before returning to their home country, but many also prepare for tertiary education. The quality English New Zealand schools provide, the wonderful tourism and cultural activities on offer, and the warmth of New Zealand people are the main drivers in choosing New Zealand as a study destination.
In 2016 students from over 90 different countries chose to improve their English at English New Zealand member schools.
