Visiting New Zealand and experiencing this great country while learning English would be a dream come true – in fact it is now a reality for Ayumi Maruyama!

Ayumi was recently selected by English New Zealand to be their first Great Study Tour blogger. Currently a student at Musashino Art University, Ayumi will get the opportunity to visit six of New Zealand’s premier English schools and experience what it is like to learn English as an international student.

While she is hosted by these schools in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, Ayumi will have the opportunity to visit some of New Zealand’s more well-known tourist attractions and destinations.

Horseriding, Hobbiton, Rotorua, Taupo, Waitomo and the Bay of Islands are some of the adventures Ayumi will have.  Kiwiana Tours will be providing these activities.

As a student of design, Ayumi will be interested in Wellington and to see the new city of Christchurch emerging.

You’ll be able to keep up with Ayumi’s journey as she will be blogging and updating her social media channels as she moves around the country. Keep an eye out for her running commentary or visit us here on the website to keep up to date with Ayumi’s tour or follow her personal blog posts.

Her New Zealand study and tourism experience will begin on Thursday 30 July when she arrives in Auckland. Ayumi will study and visit the following English New Zealand schools – click on each of the schools below to access their website pages for more information.
