Seafield School of English, with 40 years’ history of proven teaching and learning excellence, is your school to learn English to live, study and work. Located in the centre of Auckland, Seafield is at the heart of the city with easy access to transportation, shopping, restaurants and business.
Seafield is part of the New Zealand Skills and Education Group, and students often progress from Seafield to NZSE College to study IT, Healthcare and Business. As a Category 1 provider, full-time enrolments on a Seafield student visa of 14 weeks or longer entitles you to part-time work rights, so you can maintain your life while you extend your language skills in the classroom as well as in employment.

Courses available at Seafield School of English
Seafield has English classes for all of your study, life and work needs. We have General English classes for those who wish to build a strong foundation of language for work and life. We are open from 8am to 9:30pm with classes to fit your life and your learning needs.
We have IELTS and test preparation classes for those who wish to apply for residence or tertiary study; for those intending to study at universities in New Zealand, we have our flagship programme, the New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Academic) Level 4. Seafield is also a LanguageCert testing centre, which is accepted by NZQA to meet entry criteria for study at universities.

At Seafield we believe in student-centred, personalised, communicative language learning in safe, culturally appropriate learning environments. We emphasise creating real and realistic language experiences for students to learn from and to receive quality feedback about.
We recognise feedback as one of the greatest factors in learning and provide it through quality formative and summative testing with clear standards so that students know what they can do well and what they will need to improve to achieve their goals.
