The minimum age for students is 18 for individuals, and 14 for Group Study Tours.
Our campus, QRC House is a modern, 5-floor building in the heart of Queenstown. Balconies offer breathtaking views of the town and surrounding mountains, so our location is truly one of a kind.
It features a student café, demonstration kitchen, library, and computer suite to make your learning experience comfortable and convenient.

It is only a few minutes’ walk from the town centre and the shores of Lake Wakatipu. It is also next to the beautiful Queenstown Botanical Gardens.

We offer General English (from elementary level), IELTS courses, English Plus and Group study tours.
Courses focus on building confidence through both productive skills (writing, speaking) and receptive skills (listening, reading).
Whether you want to improve your overall English proficiency or prepare for the IELTS exam or employment, ABC College of English has a programme to suit your needs.
ABC is the IELTS testing centre for the Central Otago region. We also offer a pathway visa opportunity with Queenstown Resort College and the University of Otago.

Shotover Lodge, is a shared facility providing safe, warm, and secure accommodation for both ABC and our parent institution Queenstown Resort College (QRC) which specialises in tourism and hospitality Management education.
Conveniently located at the base of Coronet Peak ski area and only 7-minute bus ride to our campus, QRC House, the accommodation features:
- Single and double rooms
- All rooms include kitchenet, ensuite toilet/bathroom, central heating and Wi-Fi
- Access to communal commercial kitchen, laundry and free car parking
