New Horizon College is located in two cities: Napier, a beautiful seaside city with a warm Mediterranean-style climate, and Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand. The schools are in the centre of both cities, close to cafés and tourist attractions. Napier's major tourist attraction is the Art Deco city itself, which people from all over the world come to see, as the architecture is strikingly different from any other city. Throughout the year there are many opportunities for outdoor activities, with access to beaches, native forests and mountains. The area surrounding Napier, Hawke’s Bay, is home to many award-winning wineries.
Auckland is the main business and cultural centre, not just of New Zealand, but of the South Pacific. Known as the City of Sails, Auckland is surrounded by water; the beaches have lots of space and the water is crystal clear. In the Mercer Consulting 2014 international survey, Auckland was ranked third in the world for its quality of living.
In both campuses our teachers take a keen interest in all students and provide a stimulating learning experience. Students who enjoy interacting with their teacher and other students in a warm, friendly class atmosphere will like learning English at New Horizon College.
