Immigration New Zealand and Visas

Immigration NZ provides information about visa requirements and conditions for students from your country.

There is also a checklist to assist with visa application preparation. Please note this is a guideline only and applicants should provide the required and recommended information. Immigration New Zealand may request further information so ensure your agency name is listed on the documents if you have assisted students with their application. Try to leave approximately eight weeks between lodging a visa application and any outward travel to New Zealand, but visas may be processed in a shorter period of time.
