The University of Otago is internationally recognised for the quality of teaching and research as well as its large student population. The University of Otago Language Centre is conveniently located on campus at the University of Otago in a purpose built modern facility and welcomes approximately 200 students from 20 different countries each year.

Our school offers General English, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, English for Academic Purposes, Study Groups, English for Teachers, English for Otago and English Preparation for Foundation Year.

Internationally experienced teaching staff are committed to giving students excellent English language education. Student advisors, an academic dean, accommodation advisors and an activity co-ordinator are specialists in their areas and will support and advise students with personal, study, or accommodation questions.
